How long does it take to set up a Palomino slide-on camper?

If you would like to set-up your slide-on camper whilst on your vehicle, it is a simple case of unlatching the four corner latches and using the remote to raise the roof, then attaching the entry steps – this only takes two or three minutes. Allow another five minutes if you wish to remove the slide-on camper from your vehicle. In this instance you will need to remove / unfasten all equipment used to secure the slide-on camper to your vehicle (e.g. turnbuckles). Then extend the jacks ensuring the camper is level and well clear of your tray or vehicle well – then you can simply drive your vehicle away.
Can I be inside my Palomino slide-on camper when it is not on my vehicle?

Absolutely! This is one of the major benefits of a slide-on camper – the ability to use the camper and the vehicle separately. When the slide-on camper has been removed from the vehicle, the camper should be parked on a solid and reasonably level surface – fine tuning to ensure the camp is level can be carried out using the legs.
